Lee Zumbaugh, has been selected as Tyner's delegate to Hoosier Boy's State.   He is a member of the Tyner Senior Hi-Y and student council.  Lee has played on the Tyner Varsity basketball and baseball teams and has participated in track and cross country.
  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Zumbaugh, Teegarden. He is a member of the First Brethren Church in Teegarden and takes part in the work of the Brethren youth.



  Linda Warren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Warren, of Tyner, has been chosen as delegate to Hoosier Girls State, representing Tyner High School.
  Linda is enrolled in a college preparatory course at Tyner and plans to attend Indiana University. She has been active in class activities in school and is a member of the Tyner Sunshine Society.
  Shirley Ross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Ross, has been selected as Girl's State alternate.










































  The delegates were selected on the basis of their interest in government, leadership ability and
character as well as scholarship.
  Boy's and Girl's State is sponsored by the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary
for boys and girls of Indiana to learn the fundamental principles of Indiana government through
actual practice and control.
