
The first Sunshine meeting of the year was held Wednesday, September 27, in the Home Economics Room.
Goldie Johnson, the president called the meeting to order.
The girls made plans to go to the S.S. Convention, Saturday, October 14th, at Flora.
Plans were also made for the rough and formal initiation of new members.

At the meeting Friday night, October 6, we will vote on new members.
The Hi-Y is sponsoring a Halloween Party for the S.S. girls. The following people are on the entertainment committee; Louis Ecker, Jim Waller. Ned Haag, and Guilford Snyder. The members of the refreshment committee are; Tom Keller, Arthur Birk, Larry Calvert, Roland Litchenbarger, and Bud Campbell.
We would like to have all boys interested in joining the Hi-Y to hand their names to Bud Campbell or Mr. York.
The secretary is Ronnie Grenert.

The band patrons will have their first meeting on Monday night, October 2, at
8 o'clock.
Meetings thereafter will be the first Monday night of each month.

Well, the cafeteria opened September 5, this year. Mrs. Hornsby and Mrs. Maxson
are the cooks. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Neva Kinney, and Evelyn Norris assist them, and on Tuesday and
Thursday, John Kazlas, and Nelson Kinney help serve and wash trays.
Mrs. Reid is in charge of the lunch room.

Tuesday: Beef and brown gravy
on mashed potatoes,
