GRADES 1 AND 2
We made art booklets Wednesday. Joan Salyeis father and mother are in northern Michigan deer hunting. Fredrick Lemert is ill with a cold. We are making our plans for a Happy Thanksgiving Greetings to everyone.
GRADES 3 AND 4

The children are proud to receive their paint sets.
We completed our eye testing Friday.
The boy and girls are looking forward to a pleasant Thanksgiving vacation.
Everyone enjoyed the movies Tuesday. Thanks to Mr. Huffman.

GRADES 5 -6 - 7
In spelling the sixth graders are leading the
seventh grade 9-4. We still have two girls who have perfect scores on their final tests in spelling so far this year. They are Carolyn Fouts grade 5 and Arlene Fouts grade 7. Keep it up girls.
SUNSHINE NEWS
The initiation of the new members and we also installed Eula Kusener as Corresponding Secretary, Nov. 9, 1949. The new members also were given a rough initiation November 9 at school. We had a Thanksgiving Program Wednesday, November 23, 1949, fo the Sunshine girls.

BAND NEWS
The High School Band is going to march at the Christmas Parade in Plymouth on Saturday December 10, provided the new uniforms arrive, Mr Arlington has been drilling them in the gym. The band also plans to give a concert this winter before Christmas
CHORUS NEWS
A new organization has bee planned in this department. It is the Choralettes, consisting of 10 people. They are:

These people are going to entertain with several programs of secular music, for assemblies etc. We hope they are a huge success.
Hi - Y NEWS

The Hi-Y boys planning to attend the Hi-Y Convention at Marion, Ind.,Dec. 9 & 10 are: Bud Campbell, Larry Calvert, Richard Von Grabow, Carl Alberts, Don Pointius and John Grenert.
Junior Class Rings
Did you notice the smiles the Juniors have had today since the third period? We received word that our rings are at Derf’s in Plymouth. We will get them Monday.
