THE CHORUSES
The choralettes made their eighth public apearance by traveling to
Argos High School on Wed. March 1st, to present their music program to a very appreciatve audience.
This was their third attempt to go to Argos as weather conditions made it impossible for them
to make the journey.
The chorus department is working dilligently on their operatta, "Bits O'Barney," to be presenyed on March 31st, in the Tyner Gym. The proceeds will be used to buy music for the choruses. Look in the next issue of the "Tynerette" for the details.

The band has been practicing very hard on two overtures named "Overture
In G Minor," and "The Oracle," and also on several marches. The reason for this very diligent
practicing is that the band is entered for State Band Contest on April 1st, at Bourbon. We hope
to give a performance that will satisfy the judges and Mr. Arlington, who has been working very hard
with us. Several night rehearsals have been scheduled for the band and Mr. Arlington says that
it is necessary for every member of the band to be present. The first one was held in the gym
on Wednesday, March 8th, at 7:30 p.m.
