
Joanna Freel has sold her farm and will move to New Carlisle May 1st.
The warm spring days have brought out roller skates, jumping ropes, bicycles and even a little wagon.

Our room is planning a program for May P. T. A. We have our masks and costumes all ready. Mrs. Crabbs and Mrs. Strong are directing the plans.

We are glad to have our new fourth grade boy, Freddie Stump.
He came to our school from Nappanee.
Kenneth Schaffer has been ill with a throat infection.
The fourth grade, under the guidance of Mrs. Strong, has completed their paper mache horse. Our boys and girls have also made some interesting spring borders for room decorations.
We are looking forward to our May P. T. A. meeting. An interesting program is being planned. It is being rumored that Terry Kaser and Larry Chase of the third grade are working very hard toward making it a success.

Paul Brubaker brought one of his large white rabbits to school which inter ested many children in our room. Paul shared the bunny with other rooms also.

In our Spelling work for this year we have several children who have earned splendid records. Nola Mae Bently has a record of having spelled every word correctly on every weekly lesson. Larry Pearish and sandra Stamm have only misspelled one word each. Janice Eckstein has misspelled only two words.
